We are saddened by the loss of one of the members of the Bel-Aire family. Jim Sierzega, trumpet player for Eddie Blazonczyk’s Versatones passed away this week.

Sierzega, Air Force Veteran, beloved husband of Darlene; devoted father of Zachary and Keith (Michelle); loving grandfather of Brandon and Christopher; dear brother of Ron (Joyce) and Shirley (Michael) Hicks; fond godson of Edward Pierzhala and Sally Resner; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 10:15 a.m., from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th St., Crestwood, to Incarnation Church for a 11 a.m. Mass. Cremation private.
