
The Casinos
The Casinos were organized in 1964. Don Ptak on trumpet and vocals, Jerry Stanley on accordion and vocals, Ed Madura on clarinet and sax, Joe Kania on drums and Stanley Wozniak Jr. on trumpet and concertina. The name came from Wozniaks Casino where the Casinos got their start. The Casinos began their recording career on Belaire Records in 1965 with the Polish Jam Session album followed by the Happy Go Lucky Album. Their Polka Variety Album featured Danny Mack who joined the group. Later musicians who joined the group include Joe Dudek, Gene Pasky, Chester Filipiak and Greg Novak.
